Thank you for contacting us. Harcourt Butler Technical University (popularly known as HBTU) is a government technical university located at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh in India. The HBTU was named after Sir Spencer Harcourt Butler, governor of the United Provinces in British India. All Its programs have been conferred in autonomous status under the university.
HBTU K is one of the best colleges for engineering in India. After IITs and few NITs HBTU K ( GFTI) is a good option to persuade your b.tech. When HBTU K wasn't university(HBTI) it was the first choice for the students coming from UPSEE so the best minds of U.P. lives here. Now it has been granted university status so obviously it's reputation around the India and it's infrastructure, it's academics will get better surely.
